Who we are
crewcabinrelvlt.beauty is published by Latitude Press Ltd, Unit 4, Foundry Court, 19 Tanner Row Mews, Ouseburn, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 2PQ, United Kingdom. Latitude Press Ltd is the data controller for personal data processed through this website. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
We collect as little as the site needs to work.
- Contact form: your name, email address, the subject you choose and the message you write. You provide these directly. We use them only to reply to you.
- Server logs: when you request a page, our hosting provider records the IP address, the page requested, the time, the browser type and the referring page. These logs are used to keep the site running and to detect abuse.
- Cookie choice: your response to the cookie banner is stored on your own device in browser local storage so the banner does not reappear. It is not transmitted to us.
- Analytics: if you allow analytics cookies and an analytics tool is active, we receive aggregated information about which pages are visited and how visitors arrive. We do not use analytics to identify individuals.
We do not collect payment details, do not run accounts or logins, and do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Why we process it and on what basis
Replying to your message: performance of the request you have made, and our legitimate interest in running an editorial publication. Server logs and security: our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure. Analytics and functional cookies: your consent, given through the cookie banner and withdrawable at any time by changing your preferences or clearing site data in your browser. Legal obligations: where we are required to retain or disclose data by law.
Cookies and similar technologies
The cookie policy lists every category of cookie and storage the site uses, what each does, and how to control it in your browser. Essential storage runs without consent because the site cannot function without it. Analytics and functional cookies run only after you accept them.
Who else sees your data
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf: a web hosting provider that serves the site and stores server logs; an email provider that delivers and stores messages sent to our contact address; and, if you have consented, an analytics provider that processes aggregated visit data. Each acts under a contract that limits their use of the data to providing the service to us. We do not sell personal data and do not share it with advertisers.
Where a provider is located outside the United Kingdom, transfers are made under safeguards recognised by UK law, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
The law that applies
We process personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018, supervised by the Information Commissioner's Office. If you are in the European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation applies to our processing of your data and you have the rights it sets out. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you rights to know what personal information we hold, to request its deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights; we do not sell personal information as that law defines it.
Your rights
- Access: ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification: ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure: ask us to delete your data where we have no continuing reason to keep it.
- Restriction and objection: ask us to limit or stop processing based on legitimate interests.
- Portability: receive data you gave us in a machine-readable form.
- Withdraw consent: change your cookie choices at any time.
To exercise any right, email [email protected] with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We aim to respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, or to your local supervisory authority if you are in the EEA.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and then deleted, normally within a year of the last exchange. Server logs are retained for a short rolling period by the hosting provider and then overwritten. Aggregated analytics data, where collected, is kept in aggregated form and cannot be traced back to you.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Access to the contact mailbox is limited to the editorial team and protected by strong authentication. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold.
Privacy contact and changes
Privacy questions go to the editorial team at the email address above; we do not have a separately appointed data protection officer because the scale of our processing does not require one. We may update this policy when the site or the law changes. The version on this page is the one in force.
